This incident which happened in 2014 in Oklahoma in United Nations had shook the nation to its core. A muslim Convert Alton Nolen walked into a food processing shop and had decapitated a woman with butchers knife. The judgement on this case came few days back and Alton Nolen won’t be happy with where he is heading now.
According to MWN Muslim convert Alton Nolen shocked the nation back in 2014 after he walked into the Vaughan Foods plant where he worked in Moore, Oklahoma, and killed a Christian grandmother. Nolen decapitated Colleen Hufford and critically stabbed Tracy Johnson, a co-worker who tried to intervene.
The horrific attack grabbed national attention, being called “workplace violence,” and it was soon revealed that the man was a member of the Islamic faith. Although it looks like this was an act of revenge for a co-worker’s complaint that got him suspended, that’s not all that played a part.
Come to find out, Nolen reportedly repeated several Arabic words during his act of barbarism. Police would also later find that he had an unhealthy obsession with beheadings
The FBI also is investigating the attack, given Nolen’s interest in beheadings and a recent surge in Middle East violence.
“There was some sort of infatuation with beheadings. It seemed to be related to his interest in killing someone that way,” Cleveland County Prosecutor Greg Mashburn said. “Other than that, it seemed to be related to his being suspended earlier in the day.” [Source: Associated Press]
Come to find out, Nolen just got a brutal taste of American justice, and he is not going to like where he is headed. According to the Associated Press, “Cleveland County District Judge Lori Walkley accepted a jury’s recommendation of the death penalty over life in prison without parole for Alton Nolen, 33.” In short, he’s being sent to death row and will be put down like the rabid dog that he is. As one would imagine, though, not everyone is happy with the outcome.
Nolen’s defense argued that he was mentally-ill and that his readings of the Quran affected his ability to discern right from wrong. However, recordings of Nolen taken from the hospital and played for the jury showed no remorse over the brutal attack. [Source: The Daily Caller]
